Our Impact

Our story starts with an interdisciplinary course led by Dr. Teri Tan involving a study abroad mission trip with UCLA and CSULB students with a concentration on health and education. This trip shed light on the need for access to quality healthcare in villages in Cambodia and led to the start of SHE in 2017. Since its inception, SHE has embarked on five mission trips to Cambodia. During those trips, we conducted hundreds of health workshops and collaborated with local health professionals to provide medical and dental services. We also sponsored health fairs to educate the population and providers and empower them with increased knowledge and resources.

Off-site, SHE has coordinated the donation, packaging, and shipment of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of useful medical equipment and supplies.

This is just a snapshot of our impact. With your help, we can do even more.
