LOCAL IMPACT
Our team of volunteers distributed 10,000 including 3,000 handmade shields to address immediate shortages and distributed them nationwide. SHE’s Director of Heart2Heart, Lynne Porter, partnered with PVNet.com, a local nonprofit 3D printing center, to provide more than 2,000 medical-grade shields to frontline workers, clinics and nursing homes throughout LA and Orange Counties, as well as to a hospital on tribal lands in New Mexico, and New York Mercy Hospital. Partnering with 5 different mask-making groups, we also distributed more than 4,000 fabric face masks.
